Mouse Control & Removal
Now controlling Mice in Modesto, Manteca, Oakdale & Turlock!
Domestic mice can be found around the world and are a common household pest in central California. This species of rodent is the most investigated animal of all the mammal species. Domestic mice are often found in open spaces as well as buildings, and if Norway rats are not in the area, they are known to burrow beneath planters and hide in shrubs. Mice are often confused with young rats, but the difference can be found in the size of the rodent’s head and feet. Young rats have a larger head and feet while the head and feet of a mouse are proportionate to their body.
Mice reproduce very quickly. The average gestational period is 18-21 days and the average litter size is typically 5-6 mice. A female mouse can produce up to 10 litters in 30-50 days. Female mice send scavengers to find food for them while they are nursing their young. If you see one mouse, there is a good chance there are more out of sight. It is important to treat for them as soon as possible to prevent the spread of the infestation.
Onstar Pest Control offers a variety of treatment options for mice infestations. A technician will go over options with you once an inspection of your home or property has taken place. For the best results, we recommend that you begin a regular pest prevention program to avoid future infestations. We offer monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly service.
